Jackie Robinson Day will be held Sunday, April 15 at the Negro Southern League Museum, 12 to 3 p.m. This free, family-friendly event will commemorate the day Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in Major League baseball. Food will be available for purchase from Dreamcakes, Steel City Pops and Chef Clayton Food Systems. Guests will also have a chance to take a tour of the Parkside District with Pedal Tours Birmingham and meet former Major League, Negro League and Industrial League players.
