Permitting Division

Permitting Division is responsible for processing applications for Building and associated trade permits. Building permits typically include plans that need to be routed for Staff review. This process starts in room 210 of City Hall with front counter Staff. Staff will review application and obtain a case number for the project. When the case number is established, Staff will route plans for review to Planning, Fire Department, Building and MPG Plans Reviewers. Building permits for miscellaneous repairs and minor projects can usually be processed over counter. Trade permits are typically processed over counter and can also be processed online.
