We know Mayor Woodfin likes a challenge, so when the Navy invited him to jump from a plane to help kick off Birmingham Navy Week, he was game. He will be doing this with the Navy’s LeapFrogs. The tandem jump will happen on Monday, April 9 at 4:40 p.m. at Railroad Park. Birmingham Navy Week is April 9-15. Stay tuned for more details on Birmingham Navy Week, which will include sailors from the U.S.S. Alabama visiting Birmingham and doing community service.
