BDOT is initiating a traffic calming policy and program to help address vehicle speeding issues on neighborhood streets. Vehicle traffic operating above the speed limit is detrimental to the safety of other users of the street, and can also can have negative impacts on property values and neighborhood quality of life. This policy document explains the process and procedures for implementing traffic calming measures.
