Overview:

The City is responsible for operating the MS4 in compliance with a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit, issued by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) under the authority of state and federal clean water laws and regulations. In the adoption of the Storm Water Protection Ordinance, the Council authorized a Storm Water Appeals Board (SAB) as part of the enforcement process. The Board provides a forum for a person notified of a stormwater violation to appeal a notice of violation.

Meeting Schedule:

The SAB shall meet at least six times a year on a bi-monthly basis and such special meetings as the chair may find necessary.  Regular meetings will be held bi-monthly every 2nd Wednesday at 6 pm in Conference Room 215 located on the 2nd Floor of City Hall. A majority of the SAB shall constitute a quorum.
