Requirements for Mayoral appointment:
- Represent a nonprofit or business serving residents within the City of Birmingham
- Proven history of advocacy for Human Rights
- All members of the Commission shall be residents of the City or be members of an organization that serves residents within the City.
- Must be 21 years of age
