Several roads will be closed for the Magic City Classic
Birmingham, AL — Several roads will be closed on Saturday, Oct. 28 to accommodate the 8 a.m. Magic City Classic parade and the game day shuttles that will carry fans to and from Legion Field. Streets that are connected to the parade route will start closing as early as 3 a.m. on Oct. 28. To see the parade route, please visit www.magiccityclassic.com/route/.
Maps of these closings can be found on www.birminghamal.gov/classic. Motorists are encouraged to review the maps to see which streets could impact their travel on game day. Once the parade ends, which should be around 11:30 a.m., downtown streets that were blocked for the parade, should re-open.
Fans should also note that beginning at 3 a.m. on Oct. 28, Graymont Avenue and Arkadelphia Road near Legion Field will close. Only motorists with game day credentials will be able to have access to Graymont Avenue after 9 a.m. on Oct. 28.
