NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that at its regular meeting beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Boutwell Auditorium, 2nd Floor, the Council of the City of Birmingham will hear comments from citizens and concerned parties relating to the adoption of an ordinance amending Chapter 19 of Title 12 of the General Code of the City of Birmingham to further regulate vehicle immobilization and nonconsensual towing within the City of Birmingham. A copy of the proposed ordinance will be available for review beginning at 8:00 a.m., August 11, 2023 at www.birminghamal.gov.  Copies will also be available at City Hall, 710 N. 20th Street, Birmingham, AL 35203, in the City Clerk’s Office (3rd Floor) and the Department of Transportation (9th Floor) beginning at 8:00 a.m., August 11, 2023.
