City of Birmingham will close Dec. 24-25 and Jan. 1 for the holidays
All City of Birmingham offices, except for police, fire and 911, will be closed on Dec. 24, 25 and Jan. 1.
Also, Municipal Court will have the following holiday hours:
Dec. 23 – 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dec. 24 – Closed
Dec. 25 – Closed
Dec. 26 – 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dec. 27 – 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dec. 30 – 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dec. 31 – 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Jan. 1 – Closed
Jan. 2 – 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Jan. 3 – 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Municipal Court will resume normal operating hours, starting Jan. 6, 2020.
Also, due to the confirmation of the absence of a quorum Dec. 23-27, 2019, Council President William Parker has cancelled the regularly scheduled council meeting of Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019 and has rescheduled the meeting for Monday, Dec. 30 at 9:30 a.m. in council chambers. The submission deadline for all agenda items for the Dec. 30 meeting is Monday, Dec. 23, 2019 by 5 p.m.
Council President Parker has also cancelled the Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019 meeting, due to the confirmation of the lack of a quorum.
