Finalists for Birmingham fire chief are from Atlanta, Homewood, Pinson and Washington, D.C.
BIRMINGHAM, AL – Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin will interview four candidates for Birmingham fire chief.
- Brian Bonner is currently a firefighter and paramedic with the Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service.
- Brian Lee is currently the director of Health, Safety and Emergency Management at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
- Wilmond Meadows is currently the community and government affairs manager for the State of Georgia for AMR EMS.
- Lori Stoney is currently battalion chief with the Homewood Fire and Rescue Service.
This week’s interview process is part of a national search that began with collecting applications from March 3, 2019 to April 5, 2019. There were 56 individuals – both locally and across the nation – who applied for the position.
An assessment center was created for participants to handle a series of realistic leadership situations. Once those candidates completed the assessment process, a detailed review of their performance was conducted. The finalists’ resumes can be found below.
