Fire Station #27 closed during assessment
Birmingham Fire Station 27, located at 401 Huffman Road, will close during a facility assessment effective today, June 4, 2019. The health and safety for all employees is a priority for the City of Birmingham. The assessment will be a complete review of the facility. Due to the closure, BFRS has implemented a contingency plan to ensure fire and EMS coverage remains consistent throughout the service area assigned to Station 27. Personnel and equipment have been distributed to other stations to maintain coverage continuity.
